What to expect at your appointment:
When arriving for your early pregnancy scan you will be greeted by one of our friendly scan assistants who will accompany you throughout your experience with us. You will be asked to fill in a few extra details about yourself and your pregnancy to ensure our sonographer and team are completely informed as to why you are visiting us prior to the start of your scan. Your scan will be conducted by our expert sonographer who will ensure we provide you with the most professional care and accurate results. If you are 10 weeks pregnant or less at the time of your visit you may be offered an internal (vaginal) scan. You have no obligation to have a vaginal scan however these scans will always provide much more accurate results. You will always be asked to attend with a full bladder and we will start with a abdominal scan. You will be given one photo print to take away along with your obstetric report. (Extra prints available to purchase upon request) Should you need ongoing care following your appointment we will do our very best to arrange this for you with your local healthcare provider.
