Early Pregnancy Scan Findings

When visiting firstScan the health and well-being of mum and baby is our main priority, when attending a scan with us our teams strive to ensure you receive the very best care.
All our early pregnancy scan packages include a full early pregnancy obstetric report to take home with you detailing your early pregnancy scan findings.
However, we understand it can be worrying and confusing if the scan results are not what you were expecting.

Your sonographer should discuss their early pregnancy scan findings with you at the end of your scan. If any follow up care is required our teams will arrange this for you as we do have relationships with local NHS trusts to ensure you get the best ongoing care as soon as possible.

Below you will find additional information surrounding potential early pregnancy scan findings.

If you do have any additional questions or concerns regarding your scan with firstScan @ Window to the Womb please contact your local clinic and they will be able to talk you through your report in more detail and discuss any questions you may have.

We understand that some findings may not be what you expected on the day so it’s important you ask questions and talk through and worry or anxiety that you may be feeling.

Health care professionals work extremely hard to ensure that expectant mums/families and their baby’s are well and receive the best care.
