Our private ultrasound clinic in Hull provides women's health and pelvic scans, including well-woman & a variety of fertility packages to suit your needs.
Our Hull clinic also provides early dating, reassurance & viability scans from 6+ weeks. In line with these services, fertility and prenatal blood testing is also offered by our experienced phlebotomists.
The firstScan clinic is operated within Window to the Womb Hull, but appointments are available at different times/days to later gestation scans, such as gender or 4D, to ensure a personal and professional service throughout.
Your specialist sonographer will complete your scan with the support of a scan chaperone who is there to answer any questions you may have.
Please note, to book an early pregnancy scan, a positive pregnancy test result is required.

What to Expect at Your Appointment:
When arriving at the clinic you will be greeted by one of our friendly chaperones who will accompany you throughout your visit with us. Prior to the appointment you will be asked to fill in some details about yourself. This is so we can understand your reasons for booking with us, but also to ensure that the appropriate care is provided.
If you are attending a women's health scan, or an early pregnancy scan before 10 weeks gestation at the time of your appointment, a trans-vaginal scan is medically recommended as per NICE guidelines for more accurate, diagnostic results (you will not need to attend with a full bladder for this).
If you believe you are 10+ weeks, the scan will be conducted abdominally, and a full bladder is required. Please note, a trans-vaginal scan is only conducted with consent and can be declined; however, this can affect the accuracy of the results. Your scan will be conducted by our fully registered and qualified sonographers who will talk you through the findings following your scan and provide you with an report to take home.
In the event that ongoing care is required we will arrange this for you and provide any relevant documentation for a follow up appointment with your local NHS trust. Should you have any questions or concerns about the scan, please speak with the clinic team directly prior to your appointment.
Should you need ongoing care following your appointment we will do our very best to arrange this for you with your local healthcare provider.
