Common examples of having this ultrasound scan are the detection and exclusion of:
Evaluating the well-being of the uterus and ovaries before conception.
Estimating the time of ovulation and measuring the endometrial thickness for assisted conception.
Measuring follicles and endometrial thickness prior to private IVF treatment in the UK or abroad.
* Please note for accuracy we will advise patients to book on a specific day of the menstrual cycle to best advise when to be actively trying to conceive around ovulation. You may wish to attend for more than one ultrasound (pre & post ovulation). Although we cannot confirm ovulation by 100% without blood testing.
